KOKO Electronic reveals summer season line-ups including Batu, Skream and Pa Salieu

After nearly three years of redevelopment, refurbishment, and planning, Camden music venue KOKO is back open with a solid line-up of electronic acts spanning the summer of 2022.

Following its official reopening in April, KOKO Electronic — a new series set up by the venue hosting electronic events on Fridays and Saturdays — has today revealed its full summer schedule with new residencies and one-off shows.

This month, Skream joins the new KOKO Electronic line-ups with a four-week residency, including a special one-time-only b2b show with dubstep favourite Mala. In the weeks prior, Skream goes up alongside the likes of Prospa, DJ Q, Plastician, Eliza Rose, and Yung Singh.

Elsewhere in June, KOKO Electronic invites Helena Hauff, Batu, Dar Disku and Cici in across multiple nights to christen the newly-refurbished space.

KOKO suffered immeasurable damage in January 2020 when the venue burnt down during a temporary refurbishment. The club was due to reopen in spring, which was further delayed by the pandemic.

The club compared such events to “overcoming challenges of a biblical nature”, but after three hardworking years and a £70 million investment to repair water and fire damages, owners reopened the sparkling new venue in April with shows from Honey Dijon, DJ Seinfeld, and more.

In July, KOKO Electronic takes on a new slew of artists from Todd Terje, Maceo Plex, DJ Lag, Joe Armon-Jones, as well as live sets from KiNK and Lone across multiple nights.

Similarly, August will see a special one-off Deviation showcase with Pa Salieu, Benji B, Lil Silva, and more, while in late August, KOKO Electronic invites Sicaria Sound, Mike Skinner, Girls Don’t Sync, and Todd Edwards all under one roof.
