The takeover takes place in lieu of the station’s Big Weekend, which usually sees live broadcasting from Ibiza.

Presented by Radio 1 Dance, Friday will carry the theme ‘Around the World’ and will welcome international talent behind the decks to showcase the best of their catalogue. The line-up includes Swedish House Mafia, Vintage Culture, THEMBA and Nina Kraviz, among others.
