MK announces new single 'Take My Chance'

The new release lands via Ultra Records on Friday

MK, real name Marc Kinchen, continues a prolific 2023 with a new single 'Take My Chance' dropping this week.

The song, which has featured heavily in the DJ's summer sets, pays homage to '90s piano house and evokes dancefloor euphoria.

The Detroit-born producer has amassed over one billion global streams, with this year proving particularly fruitful thanks to singles 'Asking' with Sonny Fodera and Clementine Douglas, and his Dom Dolla collaboration 'Rhyme Dust'.

The former made the Top 10 on the official UK singles charts while 'Rhyme Dust' received over 70 million global streams plus an ARIA nomination in Australia, achieving Gold certification in the region.

Outside of production, MK's headline shows continue to sell out worldwide after a summer that included highlight performances at major festivals Coachella, Bonnaroo, Reading, Leeds, Creamfields and Glastonbury, where he graced the Arcadia spider.

Kinchen, who broke onto the house scene in 1989 with his 'Somebody New' EP, rose to fame when 'Always' and 'Love Changes' hit number-one on the US Bilboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1993 and '94 respectively.

Following the turn of millenium, MK added to his writing and production credits through works on projects with superstars such as Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Pitbull and Will Smith.

In the last few years has seen Kinchen withdraw from work within the pop sphere and return to the dancefloor, reflected by recent efforts 'Teardrops' with Paul Woolford and Majid Jordan, as well as the aforementioned 'Asking' and 'Rhyme Dust'.
