Unsound Kraków announces first wave of artists for 2019 edition

Unsound Kraków has announced the first wave of artists and DJs to perform at this year's edition, which is themed around solidarity.

Objekt will play a live set centred around his album 'Cocoon Crush', with visuals provided by Ezra Miller.

The Hotel Forum will host an extended back-to-back set from Eris Drew and Octa Octa (pictured), as well as sets from Paula Temple and Optimo's JD Twitch, whose performance will be inspired his his label Against Fascism Trax and its "anti-racist, anti-sexist, non-homophobic, non-transphobic, non-ageist and non-ableist” message.

Sherelle and Fauzia will also play a back-to-back set, with other performances coming from DJ Marcelle, Violet, Nazira, Manara, experimental metal legends Sunn O))) and Terrence Dixon under his Population One alias.

Unsound also continues its burgeoning relationship with Ugandan festival Nyege Nyege, and an array of East African artists will perform in Kraków, including MCZO & Duke (who weren't able to attend last year's festival due to a misprint in their passports), Jay Mitta and Ant Virus.

Unsound 2019: Solidarity will take place October 6-13 in Kraków. Passes will go on sale June 3. For more information about the festival, check out the Unsound website.
