Premiere: Terrence Dixon's acidic space-inspired 'Mission Incomplete'
Detroit gets intergalactic
Detroit mainstay Terrence Dixon offers the third cut from his upcoming '12,000 Miles Of Twilight' album with today's premiere of 'Mission Incomplete'.
The underground icon, who has been releasing powerful material for over two decades, has been known for his fascination of time, space and sci-fi.
The upcoming LP presents 21 tracks blending unique styles in futurism, jazz and minimal techno, drawing parallels to his recent 'Population One' project.
'Mission Incomplete' proves to be one of the more energetic productions of the collection, dipping into acid tones and manic, switching percussions. The quivering, bounce-around track starts on a minimal scale before incorporating deep and spacial background notes bringing the album's intergalactic inspiration full circle.
'12,000 Miles Of Twilight' will be available on July 3 via Out Electronic Recordings. Listen to 'Mission Incomplete' below.
