You can now buy "road maps" marking iconic acid house epicentres
The prints feature Castlemorton, Sub Club, Glastonbury, The Haçienda and more
UK-based Creative studio Dorothy has created four new road sign style prints which all celebrate acid house rave and clubland epicentres.
The new "Road Trip" prints celebrate the spirit of acid house raving during the late 80s and early 90s. These prints commemorate the cross-country trips people would take to go clubbing, raving or attend a festival.

These prints have been added to Dorothy's Road To Nowhere collection, which are screen prints celebrating music culture and history.
There are four acid-house era prints. The first covers The North (The Haçienda, Quadrant Park, Shelleys); the second covers London (Shoom, Clink Street); the third covers Scotland (Sub Club, Streetrave); and the fourth covers Free Festivals (Castlemorton and Glastonbury).
These events, spaces, and places were all iconic and symbolic to clubbers and ravers alike during the era.

In the Free Festivals print, the studio wanted to celebrate how "travellers and ravers (and their sound systems) played a relentless game of cat and mouse with the police and fought for their right to party."
The Scotland print is a nod to "clubs and club nights that were the spiritual homes of acid house and rave culture in Scotland."
Similarly, the London print takes music fans on a trip around some of London's iconic acid house venues including Shoom, The Trip, Future, Spectrum, Clink Street, The Dungeon, Labrynth and The End.
The North map highlights some of the best venues from multiple cities, including Shaboo and Hacketts (Blackpool), Quadrant Park (Liverpool), Legends (Warrington), Angels (Burnley), Sett End (Blackburn), The Haçienda, Konspiracy and Thunderdome (Manchester), Shelley's (Stoke) and Eclipse (Coventry).

The launch of this print was aligned with two seminal anniversaries of some of the raves and venues covered; the 40th birthday of the legendary Haçienda and the 30th anniversary of Castlemorton.
