Spiral Tribe rave crew duo R-Zac reissue 1993 "free party album"
A reissue of 'Trailer Trax' by R-Zac of 90’s rave crew Spiral Tribe is out now
Rave duo R-Zac of 90’s crew Spiral Tribe have reissued their 1993 "free party album", 'Trailer Trax', full of anthems designed for the hedonistic, pleasure-filled raves of the 90s.
The eight-track album was re-released on July 8 by the UK production duo, consisting of Crystal Distortion and 69db.
Out through PRSPCT Recordings, it is the first reissue release as part of a continuing partnership between R-Zac and the label.

With a distinct 90s sound, drawing in the potent drums heard in breakbeat techno and hardcore to the psychedelic influences early rave music - this LP will be a trip down memory lane for the ravers from the time, and schooling in the original sounds for rave newbies.
The album was first recorded in Berlin in 1993 using an abandoned trailer that had been converted into a mobile recording studio.
On Instagram, PRSPCT Recordings wrote: “In one of these trailers R-Zac was born. Musically the duo (Crystal distortioN & 69db) were transitioning from UK breakbeat techno as “The Spiral Tribe Liveset” into what would become R-Zac’s signature hard psychedelic sound. This double LP marks the beginning of that journey.”

Adding to this R-Zac says: "This is us finding our way into harder-sounding techno, whilst retaining the elements we love from original Chicago and Detroit music.
"These tracks represent the pivoting point between the music we recorded with Spiral Tribe in the UK, and what was to come."
Spiral Tribe was founded in 1990 as an artists group and free party sound system. In the 1990s, it organised free events including raves, festivals, and parties across the UK and later in Europe. They were heavily involved in the organisation of 1992's infamous Castlemorton Common Festival.
