Michael Bibi will make return to the stage as a headliner on Coachella's new electronic stage, Quasar
Quasar will feature three-hour extended sets from a line-up of international DJs
Coachella has announced the arrival of a brand-new electronic stage, Quasar — which is set to host a line-up of international DJs, including headliner Michael Bibi.
The new stage, hosted by Coachella's promoter Goldenvoice, will feature "3-hour plus" sets across the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21.
Michael Bibi is to headline the stage on Saturday, April 13 — marking the DJ, producer and Solid Grooves honcho's first official performance since his recovery from CNS lymphoma last year.

Bibi who announced he was cancer-free, just six months after his initial diagnosis, launched his 2024 world tour in January, titled 'One Life'.
The tour billed as a "celebration of life, music, and the human spirit", will see the globally celebrated DJ perform a huge show at Finsbury Park this summer, of which partial proceeds are to be donated to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Coachella's new electronic stage features entirely new additions to the line-up including a b2b set from Honey Dijon and Green Velvet, Jamie XX, Floating Points and Daphni taking over the first weekend.
The second weekend will welcome RÜFÜS DU SOL and Eric Prydz b2b Anyma.

In a teaser video shared to Twitter, Jenn Yacoubian from Goldenvoice revealed: "We're looking at it as a traditional DJ stage... we wanted people to see a longer format DJ set".
Located where the old Sahara tent was, the stage will feature two "monolithic" LED walls, using real-time content playback.
"Quasar is not a tent and therefore not a desert" organisers teased to socials.
