Green Velvet’s Relief Records announces US tour dates

Green Velvet’s Relief Records has announced a US-wide tour in February this year.

It brings two of the label’s current artists to the country for the expansive schedule of shows, with Mihalis Safras and Eskuche flying the flag for the label.

The tour begins on February 4 and ends on February 27, taking the label’s blend of house and techno to the country’s clubs, such as Treehouse Miami and Prysm Chicago.

On the tour, Safras states: "After many visits and events in the States - from EDC Vegas, Orlando and many La La Land showcases in Miami and Chicago - I am literally over the moon with excitement for the first ever Relief tour alongside Eskuche."

Greek DJ and producer Safras has released works on labels including Relief, Hot Creations, Sola and his own imprint, Mihalis.

He’s collaborated with Green Velvet on eight records thus far, and there are more singles from the pair to be released in 2022.

"It comes at a perfect time as there are some exciting releases I am cooking with longtime friend and collaborator Green Velvet, as well as a special single with Max [Eskuche]. We have so much insane music to bring you, and with myself and Max playing every night you know this is going to be quite special."

Eskuche adds: "After releasing one of my favourite tunes 'Concentrate' on Green Velvet's Relief Records back in 2018, our relationship has been nothing but good vibes and it has been a privilege to consider the label as family. For some time now, Mihalis Safras and I have been cooking up an amazing single that I can't wait to share with everyone on our Relief Records Tour in February!"

He too has releases on Relief, Hot Creations and Toolroom to name a few. Only breaking through in in the last four years, the DJ and producer has already played sets at Elrow and Ministry of Sound and has released four singles on Relief.

Relief was established in 1993 by DJ and producer Green Velvet. The imprint has sought to push boundaries ever since its launch, gathering an array of contributions from artists such as Paul Johnson and DJ Rush.
