Some of the biggest names in electronic music will be heading to Transylvania

Untold reveal next names for 2022 line-up, including Hardwell

UNTOLD festival has just announced its second slew of names on the line-up, including legendary DJ Hardwell.

Alok, Lost Frequencies, Vini Vici, Steve Aoki, and other artists have also joined the impressive line-up for the festival, which is due to take place from August 4 to August 7 this year over in Transylvania, Romania.

The festival is excited to welcome DJ aficionado Hardwell, who is only performing at select festivals this year.

Also on the main stage fans can expect the legendary ALOK, Steve Aoki and psytrance icon Vini Vici.

Fans can expect some huge names on the techno heaven of the festival, The Galaxy Stage, including Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, Mathame, DJEFF, Mahony and more.

The Alchemy Stage will welcome the likes of Noisia, Princess Nokia, Dub FX, Sub Focus b2b Wilkinson, Malaa and Boregore - some of the best names in dubstep, trap, drum 'n' bass and beyond. Fortune, the trance stage, will be welcoming Ferry Corsten, Aly and Fila, Markus Schulz and more.

These artists joined the likes of Major Lazer Soundsystem, Anne-Marie, David Guetta, Don Diablo, G-Eazy, Kygo, Morten, Oliver Heldens, Above & Beyond, and Paul Kalkbrenner - who were all announced last month.

As said in a press statement, the festival says: " For the 7th chapter of the UNTOLD legend, the four days and four nights of the festival will offer another fantastic experience with [some of the] greatest DJs in the world."

With this year’s ‘TEMPLE OF LUNA’ theme, the festival is incorporating magical aspects to the event. In 2019, Mixmag reviewed the experience and likened the festival to a "parallel" universe, you can read that here.
