Rinse France launches in-house record label for 10th anniversary
The Rinse FM off-shoot is also set to move to a new studio space in Paris ahead of its 10th birthday celebrations this month
Rinse France has launched a new, in-house record label — with its first release coming November 1.
Resident Beatrice M. will be the first artist to release on the new imprint, which has been created to mark a decade of the Paris-based Broadcaster, with their new track 'Magic (Dubstep Mix)', available to pre-save here.
The station has also announced a slew of new residents, as well as plans to move into a new office and studio space located on Rue de Crussol in Paris.
All this will be marked by a 10th-anniversary party, taking place at La Machine Du Moulin Rouge on November 8, with a line-up that includes Rebequita, carin kelly, NVST, Miley Serious, gboi, and Mystique (2).

A representative from the station Resident Advisor that the new space will enable them to launch more projects, “with a strong emphasis on promoting the emerging scene” and the label will “support this ambition by offering a new vehicle to encourage" artist development.
Announcing the forthcoming party on Instagram, the broadcaster added that: “Rinse is a family and a community, so we took the opportunity to bring, on air, everyone who’s been working behind the scenes to keep the Rinse galaxy alive for over ten years now.”
That show is available to listen back to via the station’s online platform.

Meanwhile, flagship station Rinse FM celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this month with a party at Drumsheds, featuring Katy B, DJ EZ, Giggs, Arthi, Saint Ludo, Jossy Mitsu and more. It also teamed up with Project 6 to host a 30th anniversary day festival in May.
Congratulating its French off-shoot, Rinse FM said: “10 years of hard work, passion and belief, shaping the culture for another generation and building community from the inside out. Paris is our second home, and we couldn’t be more proud of our France family for bearing the torch and making this all possible.”
The original UK branch already has a record label, Rinse Recordings, and has released music by a number of its associated artists including Kode9, Roska, Ben UFO and Katy B.
