Nas reveals surprise new album, ‘Magic 2’, is out this week
The new project is the sequel to his 2021 release
Nas has announced the surprise release of his new album ‘Magic 2’ which will be out tomorrow.
The upcoming album is a sequel to his 2021 Hit-Boy-produced ‘Magic’, which included the track ‘Wave Gods’ featuring A$AP Rocky and DJ Premier.
Revealing the new album via social media, the East-coast rapper shared the date, July 21 with the ‘Magic 2’ artwork which includes an image of his younger self as well as a more recent photograph.

50 Cent has also shared the album on Instagram with the caption: “Yal ain’t herd me in minute, Nas felt like it was time so it’s done.”
Out via his label, Mass Appeal, this will be Nas’ fifth album since 2020.
Mass Appeal Records are celebrating 50 years of hip hop with various releases such as the Swizz Beatz-produced ‘Hip Hop: Vol. 2’ which features the likes of Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Fivio Foreign and more.

Nas is currently on a tour with Wu-Tang Clan known as the NY State of Mind Tour which has seen them travel around the world for six months.
