50 Cent: "Whose idea was it for me to be upside down again?"

50 Cent has commented on his upside-down performance at the 2022 Super Bowl half-time show.

The rapper made a surprise appearance at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California performing his 2003 classic, 'In Da Club', hanging from the ceiling — an ode to the track's iconic music video.

The move has inspired several memes and confusion from audience members who were unfamiliar with the reference. Fifty has taken to Instagram to share some of his favourites.

"Ok who's [sic] idea was it for me to be upside down again?" he writes in one Instagram caption.

He also commented on still from D12's 'My Band' music video in which Bizarre mocked the 'In Da Club' clip. “Who the fvck did this?” he joked.

He also shared a meme of a fake Facebook-mom style card asking all the half-time performers of the 2022 Super Bowl to go on tour, except his name is written upside down.

In addition, 50 Cent reposted a video of basketball icon LeBron James singing and dancing along to his performance.

50 Cent was not on the pre-released line-up which featured Dr Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg.
