Gesaffelstein links up with Pharrell on 'Blast Off'
The French techno prince takes a step towards pop
Gesaffelstein and Pharrell's collaborative track 'Blast Off' - taken off the French techno stalwart's forthcoming 'Hyperion' LP - has been released.
The track shows Gesaffelstein taking a step towards a more pop-oriented sound, which he manages to do without compromising his metallic and brooding aesthetic that people have come to adore.
For the much-anticipated follow-up to his 2013 album, 'Aleph'.
In addition to Pharrell, Gesaffelstein has enlisted The Weeknd, Haim, electro pioneer The Hacker and Bronwyn Griffin of the Canadian synthpop duo Electric Youth to feature on his much-anticipated follow-up to his 2013 LP 'Aleph'.
'Hyperion' is set to land on March 8 via Columbia Records.
