Gesaffelstein teases his return with two mysterious billboards
What does it mean?
Today, French techno stalwart Gesaffelstein has teased his return to the stage after two large Billboards bearing his name have popped up in New York City and Paris.
Gesaffelstein has been taking a significant hiatus after his last performance at Coachella in 2015. He has rarely broken radio silence since then and the only music we have heard from the artist in the past three years has been a few minor production credits for various artists.
Taking a page out of Aphex Twin's book - who created a rousing logo campaign for his 'Collapse' EP this summer - it seems as though Gesaffelstein is readying his menacing return to the world of techno.
Details regarding what these billboards are meant to indicate have not yet been revealed.
