The Warehouse Project adds five new shows to its 2024 programme

Manchester’s The Warehouse Project has announced five more colossal shows set to join the already impressive programme for its 2024 season.

The announcement comes just a week before its opening party, Repercussion, which will be taking place on September 14 with Jungle, Honey Dijon, Major League Djz, and Bonobo set to perform.

The first new party unveiled this morning, is a headline show curated by rapper Loyle Carner. To join him on the evening of October 4, the artist has invited fellow hip hop maestros including yasiin bey, Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn, and Children of Zeus, as well as a Deviation party hosting the Concourse stage with creators Benji B, Judah, and special guests.

Following this, renowned DJ and producer Four Tet will be returning to the warehouse for an eight-hour set at the Depot stage. With tickets starting at £25, the day and night party on October 19, will see the legendary artist delve into his rousing electronic repertoire, spanning ambient bliss to rowdy club-wreckers.

November 15 will see Hot Creations label head Jamie Jones bring his global event series Paradise to the 10,000-capacity Northern venue. Jones has curated a line-up that reflects his brand’s signature house, techno and tech-house sensibility, with East End Dubs, Franky Rizardo, Loco Dice, Mason Collective and Murphy’s Law, among others on the line-up.

As the winter months near, Mancunians can expect to hear the sounds of Fatboy Slim coming out the warehouse on November 22. Especially for the night, the big beat pioneer has put together a line-up that includes both established and up-and-coming DJs such as Eats Everything, Vintage Culture, and LF System, with a disco-themed takeover at the Archive.

The final show announced today is bound to be a treat as the master of feel-good house Barry Can't Swim takes over, bringing with him the likes of Jyoty, Joy Orbison, Sofia Kourtesis, Palms Trax, Interplanetary Criminal, and Chaos In The CBD. The Eat Your Own Ears party curated by Barry Can't Swim is set to take place on November 29.

The five extra parties added to the programme join a run of stand-out shows announced earlier this summer (July 30). These include take-overs from Patrick Topping's TRICK label, Nia Archives' UP YA ARCHIVES, and the Haçienda party with DJ luminaries Orbital, DJ Paulette, Kerri Chandler, and more.

Alongside the additional shows, the announcement also comes with the news of a new collaborative initiative with Apple Music. Becoming one of the first venues in the world to launch the concept, The Warehouse Project will be recording all its live sets using innovative spatial audio technology, giving fans, as well as those who could not attend, the opportunity to listen back to their favourite DJs via Apple Music.
