DJ Flight relaunches play:musik imprint with new Nectax EP 'Body Talk'

Drum ’n’ bass pioneer DJ Flight has relaunched her play:musik label after 14 years of inactivity with an EP from Newcastle-based jungle producer Nectax.

Announced last Thursday (July 11) via a post on Instagram, 'Body Talk' will land on the label on July 26 and is described as consisting of “bass-heavy, future-facing tracks that respect the roots."

The release was teased last month via Instagram with a post reading: “The first play:musik release in 14 years… out soon.”

Following a limited test press earlier this month, the EP will be available as a 12” vinyl record and digitally, with the digital version also containing a bonus track ‘Body Talk (radio edit)’.

In December of last year Nectax released his debut EP ‘Voychek’, as well as featuring on DJ Flight’s Kool FM show, describing him as, “one of nextgen jungle’s brightest stars and the provider of a large part of my sets over the last couple years”.

‘Body Talk’ Tracklist:

A1 Body Talk

A2 Twin Turbo

B1 No Such Luck

B2 Sentinel Runner
