The Marcus Intalex Music Foundation has been established
A new platform aimed at elevating music culture and honoring Marcus' legacy
Following the sudden and tragic passing of acclaimed drum & bass and techno visionary Marcus Kaye (aka Marcus Intalex, Trevino) back in May of 2017, his family and friends have set up a new art platform to honor the late producer and DJ - The Marcus Intalex Music Foundation.
Launched on October 8, the foundation aims "to support and nurture talent in many aspects of music development and its culture." With the help of past collaborators and musical admirers, the organization hopes to put together workshops, studio sessions, seminars and events that will keep the flow of underground inspiration and knowledge rolling strong in Marcus' hometown of Manchester and beyond.
With the help of Martyn, Blasha & Allatt, Scuba and Synkro, The Marcus Intalex Music Foundation will take over The White Hotel on November 2 to make itself known in earnest to the city and the scene that guided Marcus Intalex's triumphant career in music. Learn more about the event here
