Kanye West brings out Marilyn Manson at third 'DONDA' listening party

Kanye West’s third ‘DONDA’ listening party saw appearances from Kim Kardashian, DaBaby and Marylin Manson last night, as well as a to-scale recreation of the rappers home.

Manson, who has faced a number of sexual assault allegations since the first from his former partner Evan Rachel Wood, appeared on stage alongside another masked figure thought to be Dababy. Manson has since denied all allegations, and spoke of them as “horrible distortions of reality”.

Dababy, who has been removed from the billings of a number of festivals due to on-stage homophobia at Rolling Loud in July, has a guest feature on the project, reportedly replacing Jay-Z on ‘Jail’. The Weeknd, Lil Baby, and Playboi Carti’s features have all remained intact, but Kid Cudi’s appearance has seemingly been removed.

Other artists that made in-person appearances at the event reportedly include Travis Scott, Mike Dean, Shenseea and Don Toliver.

Kim Kardashian also appeared at the event, wearing a wedding dress and walking up to Kanye as the performance ended. Earlier this year, Kardashian filed for a divorce from West, but this appearance doesn’t seem to be a signal that the two will reunite, according to TMZ.

The structure that West built for the performance was set alight as part of the show, with the rapper still inside. He emerged with a fireproof suit fully ablaze before being put out by a fire extinguisher.

West also sold merch at the event, with some of the shirts with the year ‘2024’ on the back, signalling that perhaps the rapper’s presidential campaign is far from over.

West has also begun selling a stem player for $200, which allows people to remix songs from Donda and play individual loops and stems from the yet to be released project.

Proof of vaccination was not required to gain entry to the event, but vaccinations were offered to those present. The same was available at the last DONDA event, but only 4 of the 40,000 attendees chose to take up the jab.

The album still has not been released, with West’s manager saying that the project will be available after the end of the event.
