The start of something new: Inside the Cause's new home in East London
Celebrating it's fourth birthday, The Cause welcomed punters in for new party series — Possibly Maybe
Trialling out a new venue, The Cause came back with a bang for their fourth birthday party. After saying goodbye to its Tottenham Hale home earlier this year, many London ravers have chattered in excitement around rumours of a potential return for the venue. So news of a new temporary home for The Cause crew and a new limited run of parties — Possibly Maybe — was met with excitement.
Kicking things off at its new, temporary home in a "secret East London location" The Cause will once again host parties from crews such as Keep Hush, Adonis, Warm Up and Jawdance.
In a statement The Cause said: “We’re still getting over the crazy sprawl that we witnessed over the weekend. It was so beautiful to see so many familiar faces and amazing artists join us for our Birthday after a couple of intense weeks of prepping the site…”
They add: “As we gather our energy and thoughts we’d like to thank you for all of your sustained support as we enter this new chapter in our story. It felt so right to kick off our new venture with a day and night filled with chaotic smiles.”

This new venue is surrounded by a London skyline whilst inside bares a open clean slate embellished with LED strip lights and projections bringing the building alive.
Eugene Wild, co-founder and creative director explains: “Whilst this site has tons of potential, its charm is also its downfall. Just like The Cause, it could be around for six months or a few years. This summer it certainly won’t be the full beast as The Cause was when we closed, so for now we’re dipping our toes in with a side project to test the site whilst we work out what it could or could not become, all whilst keeping our options open on other spaces to be determined”
