The Cause team are trialling a new East London venue with event series 'Possibly Maybe'

The team behind former London club The Cause, which closed at the start of this year, and the Seaside Beano festival are putting on a series of trial events at a new venue in East London.

With the series dubbed 'Possibly Maybe', each of these events and club nights will feature some of the best DJs in electronic music, and fans can expect takeovers from some of the hottest parties - from Adonis, to Keep Hush, to PIV and Alien Communications.

'Possibly Maybe' consists of a three-month takeover of a brutalist, industrial East London site. The location is currently undisclosed, however, depending on the success of the trial events - the team may take up this space permanently.

Writing on Instagram, The Cause team said: "From day into night, across multiple sound systems, inside and out, at an industrial East London Location, only revealed to ticket holders before the show."

Possibly Maybe' begins this Saturday on July 23 with The Cause's 4th Birthday and an unknown line-up. Some highly regarded selectors from across the world will stop by to play sets with some of the The Cause's regulars and local party crews.

Additionally, three-date runs from Adonis, Riposte, Warm Up, Keep Hush, PIV, and Alien Communications has been confirmed.

The Cause crew promise fans that the venue is a spectacle to get excited over. Upstairs is an intimate low ceilinged room kitted out with LED lights and a view of the whole outdoor area.

A second dance floor downstairs has a high ceiling, projections, and red lights that have been stripped down to create a sexy, ambient atmosphere.

The Cause's Tottenham venue quickly became central to the London clubbing scene and welcomed some of the best names in electronic music - from Dan Shake to OK Williams to SHERELLE.
