The Chemical Brothers officially heading to Glastonbury as they confirm Friday Arcadia slot
The pair have also shared new track 'Cylinders' to celebrate 25 years
The Chemical Brothers have been confirmed for Glastonbury 2022, just as the duo share a previously unreleased track, called 'Cylinders'.
The Chemical Brothers are no strangers to Glastonbury — having headlined The Other Stage in 2019.
The pair, comprising of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, will be playing a DJ set Glastonbury on Friday June 24, between 11:PM and 1:AM from the inside of the renowned Arcadia spider.

They have been speculated as one of the acts to fill the 'TBC' slot at Arcadia on Friday, and are sandwiched between Jon Hopkins and a Carl Cox b2b Chase and Status jungle set.
On Instagram, Arcadia stated that they have been "looking forward to this for a decade", and they're not alone. DJ Rob Da Bank says "this happens to be on my birthday" and thanks the electronic music duo for "the present".
The Arcadia spider will also be welcoming mainstream dance music icon Calvin Harris, as well as underground superstars such as Nia Archives and Four Tet.

The news of The Chemical Brothers filling in the surprise slot comes alongside the electronic duo sharing a previously unreleased track, called 'Cylinders'.
'Cylinders' is airy and experimental, and is loaded with deep sonics accompanied by wistful synths. The track is from an updated 25th-anniversary reissue of the duo's second album, 'Dig Your Own Hole' - which will be coming out on July 29 on vinyl, CD and digital.
The original version of 'Dig Your Own Hole' features a slew of famous collaborators, including Noel Gallagher, Beth Orton and Mercury Rev.

Also this summer, The Chemical Brothers are set to play a June 26 show at York's Castle Howard and a show at Musgrave Park in Cork, Ireland on June 23.
