Gilles Peterson's new festival We Out Here announces line-up

We Out Here combines jazz with house, techno, soul, reggae and hip hop

The line-up for Gilles Peterson's new festival We Out Here has been announced.

Presented by Gilles, his label Brownswood Recordings and Worldwide FM, We Out Here has confirmed a host of jazz artists alongside a DJ line-up including Theo Parrish, recent cover star Objekt, Call Super, Dutch DJ Carista, Chicago producer Mike Dunn and Josey Rebelle.

Saxophonist Nubya Garcia (pictured), Gary Bartz, Joe Armon-Jones, Moses Boyd Exodus and Sons Of Kemet represent the jazz scene, while Children Of Zeus and Kojey Radical will deliver rap and hip hop. Soul icons Lee Fields & The Expressions also play, as do Domino singer Tirzah, Matthew Herbert and Ilian Tape DJ and producer Skee Mask.

There will also be a Future Bubblers stage in association with Arts Council England, hosting artists such as Nutribe, Elsa Hewitt, Kayla Painter and DJs Congi and Medikul & R. Lyle.

We Out Here takes place from August 15 to 18 in Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire on the former site of Secret Garden Party, which ended in 2017.

Camping options range from glamping to family-friendly options. Tickets are priced from £145 on the website.
