Dr. Dre reportedly wrote "247 tracks" throughout the pandemic

Dr. Dre has claimed that he wrote 247 songs during the pandemic in a now-deleted video on his Instagram.

In the video, posted on June 30, Dre teased that he’s been working on new albums with Snoop Dogg and Busta Rhymes.

NME reported that he said: “I did 247 songs during the pandemic, then we paused, did a whole album with Marsha Ambrosius — that’s fucking nutso, that’s crazy,”.

Adding: “Then we came back…what did we do after that? Oh, I did the Grand Theft Auto shit and then we working on my n**** Snoop. We two days in right now, we got, what, six bangers done? So, I don’t know. I wanna finish this shit and then start Busta Rhymes.”

In December 2021, Dre worked on six songs for Grand Theft Auto’s ‘The Contract’ which was then released as an EP.

Features on this EP include the likes of Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes as well as Eminem, Anderson .Paak, Rick Ross and more hip hop legends.

Since then, himself, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show which shortly afterwards saw the 'Still D.R.E' music video, featuring Snoop Dogg, hit 1 billion views on YouTube.

No further news has been revealed on more music by Dr. Dre.
