'Still D.R.E' has reached 1 billion views on YouTube following Super Bowl

The first track to hit the milestone for both artists

'Still D.R.E' has reached 1 billion views on YouTube following Super Bowl

Dr. Dre's 'Still D.R.E' music video, featuring Snoop Dogg, has hit 1 billion views on YouTube following Super Bowl half-time performance.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg took to the stage last weekend to perform for the Super Bowl half-time show. They were joined by Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and special guest 50 Cent.

The rappers all performed a series of seminal tracks from their careers in a rap mash-up, but one track that stood out was Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's 1999 collaboration 'Still D.R.E', from Dr. Dre's album '2001.

The recent popularity of this track has taken it to 1 billion views on YouTube, with the description now reading: "REMASTERED IN HD!! CELEBRATING ONE BILLION VIEWS!!"

The video, directed by Hype Williams, is the first video to cross 1 billion views for either Dre or Snoop.

The track was famously written by Jay-Z and was produced by Dr. Dre himself, Scott Storch and Mel-Man.
