In The Que: Celebrating the Que Club looks back at some of its most iconic raves
A documentary on legendary Birmingham venue Que Club has been released on YouTube.
Titled, In The Que: Celebrating the Que Club the film follows the story of one of the most popular clubs in the UK with iconic raves such as the House Of God parties.
Opening back in 1989, Que Club saw the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Altern8, Massive Attack, David Bowie and many more before it shuttered in 2017.

Daft Punk even used Que Club for a live set of their 1997 album ‘Alive’.
On top of this, BBC Radio One Essential Mixes recorded mixes with Carl Cox, Sven Väth, and Paul Oakenfold at the venue.
Bought back in 1992 by Billy Gaff, former manager of Cream, The Clash and Rod Stewart, the building was swiftly transformed into a live music venue that enticed the ravers of Birmingham.

The film’s synopsis describes a night at Que Club to have “2000 clubbers raving to techno in the main hall whilst 100 people might be listening to drum ‘n’ bass in a side room, 50 listening to Jungle and others listening to garage, basement or breakbeat.”
Music historian Jez Collis said on the film: "This project will celebrate the pioneers of rave and dance culture in Birmingham and shine a light on a hidden history of Birmingham's music heritage and culture."
