Block9 reveals line-up for Glastonbury 2023

Block9 has just announced its full programme for Glastonbury 2023, as it celebrates 16-years at Worthy Farm.

Alongside regular fixture the IICON stage and festival-meets-club NYC Downlow, Block9 will also be bringing back the Genosys Sound System bus from 2022 — which was inspired by transports seen at the infamous Castlemorton in 1997.

Block9 is also continuing its partnership with Notting Hill Carnival, with Notting Hill Carnival Soundsystem set to provide showcases in the "naughty corner" from Thursday - Sunday, as well as a float which will be travelling around the festival every day.

Over on IICON, attendees can expect sets from Four Tet, Vigro Deep, Cakes da Killa, Batu, Mala, Actress, Jamz Supernova, Zenker Brothers and more.

While hot ticket of the weekend, NYC Downlow — modelled after underground venues in NYC's Meat Packing District — will be welcoming Midland, Call Super, Peach, Artwork and Hannah Holland.

While Sedef Adasi, Ben UFO, Roi Perez and a special b3b between Eliza Rose, Dan Shake and Sally C, will be aboard the Genosys Sound System bus.

Block 9 co-founders Gideon Berger and Stephen Gallagher, said: “At Block9, we have always championed underground music, freedom and self-expression, and our 16th birthday feels the perfect occasion to celebrate our ‘coming-of-age’ with our Glastonbury family.

In the last few years, our freedoms and our right to protest have come under sustained attack. The creation of new draconian laws means our liberty is being systematically eroded. Block9’s 16th birthday party is a stand against right-wing populism, and a celebration of all things alt!”
