Tyler, the Creator pulls out of Lollapalooza and Outside Lands headline slots
The rapper apologised to fans, commenting "Please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person”
Tyler, the Creator has cancelled his headline shows at both Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.
The rapper took to Twitter to share the news with fans, writing: “I hate saying this but I have to cancel Lollapalooza and outside lands.”
Megan Thee Stallion will be replacing his slot at Lollapalooza, while Sabrina Carpenter will be performing in his place at Outside Lands.
Posting a statement on Twitter, the rapper says: “I hate saying this but I have to cancel Lollapalooza and outside lands.”

He continued: “I made a commitment that I can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were.
“That is not sexy at all. please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person. Love”
Fans in the comments of his statement have posted, "Drop them dates for Camp Flog Gnaw and all is forgiven king", as well as "Tyler creating sadness".
Lollapalooza takes place from August 1 to 4 in Chicago whilst Outside Lands will be running the following weekend from August 9 to 11.
Last year, Lollapalooza Brazil offered disappointed fans refunds after Drake abruptly dropped out of his headline slot and was replaced by Skrillex.
Just hours before announcing the cancellation, Drake was spotted partying in Miami, at the Booby Trap on the River Strip Club, where rapper 50 Cent was headlining.

Currently, Tyler’s only upcoming shows will be at both weekends of Austin City Limits Festival in early October.
This week, Tyler was one of two dozen surprise guests at Kendrick Lamar’s "The Pop Out: Ken and Friends" show in Los Angeles.
Tyler performed his track ‘EARFQUAKE’ before being spotted by fans dancing in the crowd to Lamar’s Drake diss track ‘Not Like Us’.
