Unsound Kraków returns this October with another visceral display of experimental art, music and celebrations. Announcing the second wave of global artists set to touch down in the Polish city later this year, innovators such as Lotic, SOPHIE, Sinjin Hawke & Zora Jones, object blue, Gaika, RP Boo, Powder and DJ Lilocox have been confirmed this week.

Joining previously announced acts such as Ben UFO, Tim Heckler, IGLOOGHOST, Skee Mask and JASSS at the flagship affair, a surprise debut b2b between Objekt and Lena Willikens has also been unveiled in the latest artist reveal.

Linking up as part of experimental label PAN’s ongoing collaboration with the festival, other new artists confirmed for PAN x Unsound programming include Eartheater.

For this year’s iteration of the acclaimed festival, the theme hones in on the idea of “Presence”, with the acts, events and indeed ethos reflecting and exploring this concept.

This year’s edition will also conclude with a tribute to the late Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson, who died earlier this year aged 48. Organised in partnership with Krakow FIlm Music Festival, the ensemble tribute is set to feature the likes of Hildur Guðnadóttir, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, Erik Skodvin, Sam Slater and Sinfonietta Cracovi.

Unsound Kraków takes place October 7-14. Head over to the event website to see the schedule so far and for further ticket information.
