Shygirl shares new single ‘f@ke’ featuring Kingdom
The MOBO-nominee shared a snippet of the new track, while alluding to "Club Shy" in 2024
Shygirl has shared her new single ‘f@ke’, featuring LA-based artist Kingdom.
The new track blends Shygirl’s ethereal vocals and the sound of the ‘00s, as the rapper and songwriter demands within the lyrics to go the club — before adding that she wants "a fake bitch" and that she also wants to be "fake".
Sharing a snipped from her new track on Instagram, Shygirl's caption adds: "Club Shy incoming 2024". Fans in the replies of her post are saying, "shyy you are the club" and "soooo ready for club shy likeeee".

‘f@ke’ marks her final release of what has been a huge year for Shygirl from her Mercury nomination, an AIM UK Independent Breakthrough award as well as a slot supporting Beyoncé on her Renaissance tour.
On top of this, Shy has recently been nominated for best electronic/dance act for the 2024 MOBO Awards in support with the Black Electronic Music Association, Club BEMA and Mixmag. Shy joins TSHA, Aluna, Nia Archives, PinkPantheress and salute who are also in with a chance of winning.
This new release comes just a month after her last single ‘thicc’ featuring Irish singer-songwriter Cosha and produced by Karma Kid and Sega Bodega.
Speaking about ‘thicc’ Shy says that the song is a “fun and carefree and definitely a tease. All the classic traits of club shy.”

Fan’s also received this year the deluxe version of her well-received 2021 debut album ‘Nymph’.
‘Nymph_o’ included remixes and features from the likes of Björk, DETO BLACK, Tinashe, Arca, Erika de Casier, Eartheater, Fatima Al Qadiri, and more.
The album includes the remixes of some of her much-loved tracks such as ‘Shlut’, ‘Nike’, ‘Coochie (a bedtime story)’, ‘Come For Me’ and more.
