Ultra Miami has announced that RESISTANCE, Ultra's underground-focused concept, will now consist of three stages featuring the likes of Carl Cox, deadmau5 as Testpilot and Richie Hawtin, among others.
Taking place during Ultra Miami at the new location of the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park and Miami Marine Stadium on March 29, 30 and 31, RESISTANCE's three stages will now be placed on its own island. The new location allows the concept to have more space and hours to use, running from 2pm to 2am on all three days.
Another major change in 2019 is that RESISTANCE will be hosting the Carl Cox MegaStructure for the entire weekend. Carl Cox will headline all three days, with an additional exclusive B2B set on Saturday with a special guest.
The addition of two new stages to RESISTANCE means that there are more stage takeovers, including Richie Hawtin’s PLAYdifferently on Saturday at a brand new structure. A third stage, aptly named The Arrival, will come straight from the PLAYGROUND Sound Camp at Burning Man.
In addition to RESISTANCE Global Ambassador, Carl Cox, and Richie Hawtin, headliners include the likes of Adam Beyer, Sasha | John Digweed, Cirez D, Deadmau5’s techno alias Testpilot, Charlotte de Witte, Sven Väth and the return of the rare B3B set between Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna, as well as an exclusive B2B set between Jamie Jones and Joseph Capriati.
