Object blue in The Lab LDN
Experimental artist object blue makes her Lab LDN debut
The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Coors Light's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party.
This Friday object blue is at the controls.
The London-based artist made a big impression with the release of her debut EP 'Do you plan to end a siege?' on TT in March last year and has since established herself as one of the most exciting new names in the field of experimental techno with follow-up release ‘Rex’ on Let’s Go Swimming, a string of first-rate live and DJ sets at clubs and festivals like Atonal, Unsound and Printworks, and a frenzied mix for Dekmantel.
This summer object blue will be releasing her most personal body of work yet, with details set to be revealed soon., as well as hitting the festival circuit for Great Escape, Primavera, Houghton, Dekmantel and Dimensions.
Sign up for guestlist to join us in The Lab LDN here, and catch the live stream from 5pm BST this Friday, May 10. Tune in live over on our Facebook page and re-watch later on MixmagTV.
For 2019, The Lab LDN will also shine a light on talented visual artists. This week's come from Sage Jenson, a media artist focused on speculative biology and emotive simulation. Their work involves tactile audiovisual spaces, complex network theory, extended realities and the cultivation of digital creatures and ecosystems. Check their Twitter, Instagram and website.
