Honey Dijon links up with COMME des GARÇONS for fashion brand
The DJ's brand will be called Honey Fucking Dijon
Honey Dijon (pictured) has linked up with Japanese company COMME des GARÇONS to create a fashion brand.
Adrian Joffe, president of Comme des Garçons International and chief executive officer of Dover Street Market, confirmed the company is working with the artist to build a brand together, called Honey Fucking Dijon.
The first collection will include DJ bags and T-shirts, and should be available at the end of summer.
In an Instagram post, Dijon said: "As a trans woman of colour I’d never imagined that this would be possible.
“Thank you @adrianjoffe @commedesgarcons for allowing me to represent my culture, community, and love of house music. I am truly honoured."
Honey is not the first DJ to create a fashion brand. Earlier in the year, Peggy Gou launched her own fashion label, Kirin.
