The awards will make their return for a virtual ceremony in September

Headie One, AJ Tracey and Pa Salieu lead GRM Rated Awards 2021 nominations

The GRM Rated Awards this week revealed their full list of nominations.

The awards will return for its sixth year on Thursday September 16 at 7pm for a virtual ceremony that will be broadcast exclusively on Youtube.

The awards list is full of this year’s most impressive talents in UK rap and grime. The categories are for best album, best female talent, best male talent, breakthrough artist of the year, personality of the year, best track, best video, best mixtape, and best producer.

AJ Tracey, Headie One and Pa Salieu lead the nominations this year with four nominations in separate categories. AJ Tracey and Headie One are nominated for male artist, best track, best video and best album, while Pa Salieu is nominated as best breakthrough artist, best track, best video and best mixtape.

ENNY has earned three nominations for best breakthrough, best track for ‘Peng Black Girls’ featuring Amia Brave, and best female artist. Little Simz has also garnered a nomination in the best video category for her ‘Introvert’ video, directed by Salomon Lightelm.
