Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner spotted partying with FISHER in Ibiza
Angela Raver is at it again
UK Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner was spotted dancing behind the decks with Australian DJ FISHER at Hï Ibiza, one of the island’s best-loved superclubs, earlier this week.
In videos posted online, the Labour leader’s second in command could be seen jumping up and down with her hands in the air as FISHER dropped a remix of Gotye's hit song ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’.
The original video was posted on Instagram on Thursday night by actress and singer Denise van Outen – who has recently taken to DJing – with the caption: "A surprise booth rave up with Angela Rayner".

The post also included a video of TSHA playing in the same booth in the Theatre room at Hï Ibiza on Wednesday night (August 28) as part of FISHER’s season-long residency.

Other names that have featured on the line-up this summer include DJ Boring, Sally C, Fatboy Slim, Franky Rizardo, Honeyluv, Kitty Amor, Solardo and Syreeta, among others.
This isn't the first time Rayner has expressed her love for dance music. At Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, she told comedian Matt Forde that she had just returned from another party holiday in Spain.
“The girls I was raving with are half my age, and I was like, 'I'm a grandma',” she said (via Sky News). “I was proud of that. 4:PM I started, and I got home at six o'clock in the morning when the sun was shining.”
When asked if she did it "with or without chemical support", Rayner said she didn't need any, offering up some words of wisdom: "You've got to go with the music, the vibes. You've got to be in the moment and it takes you."

She has also previously dabbled behind the decks herself, playing a charity gig at Manchester's Depot Mayfield warehouse in December 2022. The politician whipped out the 1995 dance hit ‘Set You Free’ by N-Trance to a crowd of over 100 ravers.
The Deputy PM will likely be getting some rest over the weekend as she’s due back in parliament on Monday when the House of Commons recess ends.
