Deep Dish will play in London for the first time in 10 years
Announcing two intimate shows at The Cause, the duo said “we will be debuting all of the new music that we’ve been working on!”
House duo Deep Dish have announced two “intimate Gallery shows” at East London club The Cause, with the first on December 7 and the second on December 20.
The performances will be the first time Dubfire and Sharam have played together in London for 10 years, following their set at South London’s Electric Brixton in 2014.
Revealing the news via Instagram, Deep Dish said: “From the legendary nights at The End, Plastic People, Lazy Dog and Fabric (when they had just opened!) to shooting our very first music video in Covent Garden, and signing with the famed Deconstruction label, we’ve always had a special place in our hearts for London.
“So we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be back to play our first DJ sets in the UK in over ten years this December, where we will be debuting all of the new music that we’ve been working on!”

Some of this "new music" is already out as Deep Dish dropped two remixes of their seminal single 'Flashdance' in October, the duo’s first release since 2014’s ‘Quincy’.
In the years between, both artists have been working on solo projects, with Dubfire releasing two new singles in October ('Redacted' and 'Plasma') and Sharam in September ('Don't Know (What)').

The upcoming London shows come as part of a wider UK, US and Canada tour titled ‘Deep Dish Presents: The Future’, with dates scheduled for December 5 and 21 in New York, and Denver on February 1, 2025.
This year, Deep Dish has played at Burning Man, Space Ibiza, Amsterdam Dance Event and more.
Both originally from Iran, Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi formed their DJ and production project in Washington D.C. in 1992.

Last year marked the 25th anniversary of their first studio album ‘Junk Science', which placed the duo firmly in the progressive house realm and elevated them dance commercial stardom.
Next year, Jamiroquai will be retuning to the stage for the first time in six years, as the band announced a 14-date UK and European arena tour.
Tickets for Deep Dish's London shows are available here (December 7) and here (December 20).
