The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. Thursday, we welcomed Sharam into The Lab LA.

Iran native Sharam has been making a noticed mark in the genre since 1992. Also known as one half of the celebrated Deep Dish duo alongside Dubfire, Sharam has also paved his own career as a soloist as well.

With previous collaborations with Shakira, Kid Cudi, Chirs Martin and Daniel Bedingfield under his belt, Sharam has maintained respected roots in techno and house with new, innovative sounds.

Sharam's latest output is 'Retroactive', his first solo album release in over seven years which is set to arrive June 10. You can pre-order 'Retroactive' (previously titled 'The Warehouse') here.

Those of you in LA can catch Sharam at Sound Nightclub on Saturday, July 16. Tickets here.

On opening duties we had Trent Cantrelle. Listen to his tunes here.

The Lab LA is strongly powered by Void Acoustics. Subscribe to Mixmag TV and watch Sharam in The Lab LA below.
