​Space Ibiza to host “historic” 24-week residency at Eden

Space Ibiza is bringing a “historic” 24-week residency to Eden Ibiza this summer, said to be a “homecoming” in San Antonio town.

The residency kicks off on April 26 and will conclude on October 4 as Ibiza rounds off another summer season. The collaboration promises to “rekindle the flames” of Space Ibiza’s spirit.

“We've deeply missed the collective joy of dancing, the unparalleled energy of connecting on the dancefloor, and the creation of incredible memories,” said a Space Ibiza spokesperson.

“It's with great emotion and excitement that we return to Ibiza, to reawaken the island's spirit and reintroduce the unique magic that is Space Ibiza.”

They added that the residency intends to celebrate the music and spirit of former Space Ibiza parties with a nod to the club’s legendary owner, Pepe Roselló.

“Let the music play, let the dancefloors fill, and let the spirit of Ibiza shine brighter than ever before,” said Roselló on the partnership. “Welcome back to Space Ibiza. Welcome home!”

Parties will take place each Friday at Eden Ibiza, chosen for its “deep-rooted connection and shared ethos”. Each event will weave together the past, present, and future of club music on the White Isle, Space Ibiza says.

Space Ibiza closed in 2016 after almost three decades of parties. The club first opened in 1989 by founder Pepe Roselló, and quickly became one of the most popular venues in the world.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Carl Cox will be headlining the opening of Space’s new superclub in Riccione, Italy, this summer. He’s set to perform a hybrid live set to inaugurate the new club following a 15-year-long Space Ibiza residency.
