​Belfast’s AVA Festival unveils 10th anniversary line-up, stage splits, and afterparties

Kicking off at the end of May, this year's AVA line-up includes BICEP, Nia Archives, Kerri Chandler, and more

​Belfast’s AVA Festival unveils 10th anniversary line-up, stage splits, and afterparties

Belfast’s AVA Festival has announced its full line-up, stage breakdowns, conference programme, and afterparty schedule ahead of its 10th edition.

Taking place this year from May 31 - June 1, AVA is set to return to its regular site, Titanic Slipways, for a milestone anniversary celebrating 10 years.

With a handful of new additions to the line-up including Ross From Friends and DJ Seinfeld, AVA now boasts more than 50 artists across two days.

Headliners this year include Nia Archives, Kerri Chandler, BICEP, and Barry Can't Swim, who will join the likes of Flowdan, Sammy Virji, horsegiirL, MCR-T, X-Coast, Confidence Man, Effy, Nick León, and Helena Hauff on the line-up.

Several artists are also slated to go toe-to-toe over the weekend, including Bitter Babe B2B Surusinghe, Special Request B2B Anz, and DJ Boring B2B salute.

Ireland’s Sloucho is due to bring his live set to the Nomadic Stage on Friday, while Northern Ireland-born, Rotterdam-based DJ Kessler brings his live set to The Pumphouse on Saturday.

AVA’s daytime conference programme will run from 11:AM until 3:PM on May 31 at the Titanic Museum, featuring workshops, panel discussions, and talks from David Holmes, Bitter Babe, EMBY, and more. Check out the schedule below.

The schedule for this year’s afterparties have also been announced, with four events across two nights. Over at Lavery’s on Friday and Saturday, expect the likes of Sammy Virji, LB aka Labat, Narciss B2B DJ Boring, and more.

Meanwhile, Belfast’s Ulster Sports Club will host Shampain, Effy, Kessler, Sam Alfred, Hannah, and Aika Mal across Friday and Saturday nights.
