Batu releasing new EP, ‘False Reeds’, on Timedance this month
The three-tracker is his first release on the label in two years
Timedance boss Batu will release a new EP, ‘False Reeds’, this month, his first material on the label in two years.
According to the press release, all three tracks have been ‘designed for the body and mind’.
The label is building off an incredibly strong 2018, which included sterling releases from Laksa, Lurka and Ploy (his track ‘Ramos’ was ranked as Mixmag’s 25th best track of 2018).
The label also released its first compilation, ‘Patina Echoes’, which featured tracks from a range of label associates, including Bruce, rRoxymore and Via Maris.
‘False Reeds’ will be released on May 17 via Timedance. It can be pre-ordered on Bandcamp.
One of the tracks from the EP, ‘Shiratani’, is available to stream now on Soundcloud; check it out below, along with the album's artwork.
