Awakenings announces Amsterdam Dance Event 2022 programme
There's nine events in total, spanning the iconic Gashouder and Ziggo Dome
Awakenings has unveiled its programme for the 2022 edition of Amsterdam Dance Event, compromising of nine events in total: six at the iconic Gashouder, and three at the Ziggo Dome.
Fresh from celebrating 25 years of the institution at its summer festival, headliners announced so far include Carl Cox - playing a live set - Joris Voorn, Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens.
The opening night will take place on October 19 at the capital's Gashouder, where Awakenings began, featuring names such as Paula Temple, Hector Oaks and Cera Khin.

Across the week, other names on the bill between the two venues include Ben Klock b2b Marcel Dettmann, Helena Hauff, Reinier Zonneveld and Indira Paganotto.
“Awakenings is returning to ADE this year, and we have our sights set higher than ever," explains marketing manager Tim Middelesch. "With a total of nine events, including a special marquee billing that will be announced on Tuesday, we’re honoured to provide our visitors with incredible day and night events this year.
"We’re thrilled to be able to book such household names year after year, but it also feels amazing to provide a stage to upcoming talent we believe in. It’s crazy to see that even after having done two major festivals already this year, tickets still fly out the door, for instance Amelie Lens’ night [at ADE] was completely sold out within within 24 hours.

"I personally can’t wait for our ADE events, which feel extra special as we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year. I’m looking forward to seeing our visitors and artists gather for some massive celebrations.”
