Queer party Adonis has launched a new record label, with the first release scheduled for February 25 2022.

Aptly named Adonis Records, the label aims to platform the artists who have shaped the sound of the club night.

Nyra and Wilson Phoenix's first EP, 'ADONIS 001', features four tracks that mix house and electro.

The launch of Adonis' new label comes after the conclusion of the band's four-year residency at London's The Cause, which ended on January 1, 2022. They had their last ever show at the venue at the New Year's Day closing party this year.

Writing on Instagram about the upcoming release, Adonis says: "Out first vinyl release drops on 25th Feb. A 4 track EP from @nyramusic1 & @wilsonphoenix_. Available to preorder now from @phonicarecords"

Nyra delivers the A-Side of the EP, which features tracks 'Used To Love Me' and 'Visions. Wilson Phoenix delivers the B-side with 'Dash-und' and 'K-12'.

With its sensual "you used to love me, basic lover" vocal repetition, deep atmospheric beats, and mesmerising saxophone sounds, 'Used To Love Me' conjures classic early New York house.

'Visions' is laced with brilliant electro beats that bounces throughout, along with Italo house-inspired synth chords to create an emotional track suitable for peak-time dance floors.

The energy becomes more intense as the BPM climbs. With its powerful 909 matched by robotic synthesisers and retro acid and rave elements, the pounding but joyful 'Dash Und' displays its muscles from the start.

'K-12' amps up the octane with a "sweat-soaked" techno banger with piercing hi-hats for the perfect heads down cut.
