Nite Fleit announces debut album, ‘Day Fleit / Nite Fleit’

The album is split into two distinct halves which shifts between styles

Australian-born, London-based artist Nite Fleit has announced her debut album, ‘Day Fleit / Nite Fleit’.

Due for release on July 14, the DJ and producer’s debut LP steers through a variety of electro, breaks, techno and acid to explore contrasting emotions and an array of sonic atmospheres.

The first single from the album, ‘Overload’, is available now, which is accompanied by a visually encompassing video.

“The brief [for the video] was: Basically I want it to be a fucking weird dream, quite surrealistic with no journey between scenes or landscapes,” explains Nite Fleit. “They nailed it.”

‘Overload’ is a densley packed tune with hypnotic acid lines and spoken lyrics, collaging mystical sounds together. The track sets the tone for the ‘Day Fleit’ side of the album, which infuses Nite Fleit’s sound with buoyancy, showcasing her musicality.

The entire album has no front or back cover, encouraging the listener to pick whichever side they desire to begin listening to, depending on their mood.

‘Nite Fleit / Day Fleit’ will be available on Steel City Dance Discs, which Nite Fleit made her debut on in 2018, just two years after she started producing.

Since then, she’s also appeared on imprints such as Return to Disorder and Planet Euphorique, whilst simultaneously creating and featuring on her own, Atomic Alert.
