Ela Minus & Nick León are releasing a new collaborative EP this summer
Ela Minus & Nick León are collaborating on a new EP, ‘qué les pasó a mis amigos?’, which comes out on August 7 via Domino’s Smugglers Way. Its title translates into English as “what happened to my friends?”.
A single from the three-track release is out now, ‘espiral’, blending a woozy melody, bassline groove and softly piercing vocals.
“It was so free,” says Nick León of working together. “There were unspoken understandings of what we wanted to do. That’s not normal.”
“We immediately felt this kinship,” Minus adds.
Remixes of each track are also coming, from Loidis, Guedra Guedra and Brenda.

Solomun and Skrillex share first collaborative single 'Rumpta'
Ahead of Skrillex's debut at Solomun's legendary +1 at Pacha Ibiza tonight (July 5), the pair have shared their first-ever collaboration, 'Rumpta', which landed via Solomun's Diynamic Music on Wednesday (July 1).
Featuring warped, house-inspired vocals, dizzying groove and cataclysmic drops, 'Rumpta' balances Solomun's trademark peak-time melodic tension with Skrillex's bouyant bass.

Ineffekt teams up with Jazz Alonso with new single 'JELLY'
Dutch DJ and producer Ineffekt has enlisted the help of Spanish vocalist Jazz Alonso on rowdy new single, 'JELLY', which landed via George Daniel's Dirty Hit spinoff dh2 last week (July 2).
Dubstep-inclined bass wobble and a riotous medley of percussion underpin Alonso's punchy, playful vocal riff on the new single — the first of two from Ineffekt set to land via dh2 in the coming months.
“I got to work with Jazz Alonso whose vocals are nothing less than incredible and we went from there. What followed were 10 months of endless tweaking. I think I really wanted this to be as close to the vision I had in my head as possible," says Ineffekt. "Something that lives and breathes dance music, club music but in its core functions a song. And I think I came a long way with this one.”
