Murlo’s debut album to land alongside 36-page graphic novel

The novel, digital album and a series of art prints complete the ‘Dolos’ trifecta

Murlo has shared more details regarding his upcoming debut album, 'Dolos'.

Late last year we shared the project’s lead track ‘Evaporate’ and trailer alongside the first album teaser. This week however, the Manchester-based artist shed more insight into the album release.

It's been confirmed that ‘Dolos’ will release as a 36-page graphic novel accompanied by a traditional digital release. The novel has been hand-written, drawn, illustrated and coloured by Murlo himself, and will interlink his two creative disciplines in a fresh new way, with each of the album’s 15 tracks represented by a chapter within the novel.

Alongside the novel, 15 limited art prints have also been confirmed as part of the album drop. They’ll follow up the run of sell-out Biolife prints shared by Coil Records boss Murlo during and after his The Murlo Collection London exhibition last year.

Alongside the release of his album, Murlo will has also been confirmed for a string of European dates this spring and summer.

‘Dolos’ lands February 22 on Coil Records, pre-order here.
