Emily Eavis reveals date of Glastonbury line-up announcement

Little Simz is confirmed to headline the West Holts stage

Emily Eavis has revealed that the 2022 line-up for Glastonbury will be out next month.

Taking place at the iconic Worthy Farm it will span across June 22 to 26 and will be the first edition since 2019 as the pandemic forced the closure of the last two festivals.

So far, the headliners confirmed include Billie Eilish performing on Friday on the Pyramid Stage and Diana Ross performing the Legends slot on Sunday.

Emily Eavis revealed this news via replying to someone’s comment on her Tweet by writing: “We will give you some news by the end of the month!”

The most recent addition to the line-up is Little Simz to headline the West Holts stage.

Emily Eavis said to BBC Radio 1: “Little Simz…has just confirmed to headline the West Holts Stage.”

She added that they are now “in full festival mode” and that their competition is open explaining that “it’s a great opportunity to get to play at this year’s festival, and, more often than not, all the finalists get gigs here”.

Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Paul McCartney had been slated to headline the 2020 edition of the festival.

It is also rumoured that Queens of the Stone Age and Elton John could be performing at this year’s Glastonbury.
