Berlin’s OHM to reopen for the first time in two years this weekend

Tresor’s sister venue welcomes in Angel D’lite on Saturday

Berlin’s beloved nightclub OHM is reopening after two long years.

Tresor’s sister venue opens its doors back up this weekend on June 3, with parties continuing each weekend throughout the summer.

Set between infamous clubs KitKatClub and Kater Blau in Berlin’s Mitte, OHM takes over the same sprawling spot as Tresor’s Kraftwerk venue with a smaller, more intimate crowd.

This weekend, OHM reopens for the first time since the pandemic first began in March 2020, where it was shuttered for the foreseeable future.

“June 3rd, 2022 - OHM resumes,” the club announced on Instagram in May. This weekend, OHM hosts two nights at its seminal venue, the first presented by KOOKOO alongside special guests.

“Open defiance. Body language. Oppression and resistance. Raised voices, clenched fists. Non-compliant agitators. There was no history. There will be direct action,” reads the description for OHM’s opening night.

On Saturday, June 4, OHM brings in Angel D’lite for a night presented by Awkwardly Social. Elsewhere this summer, OHM invites Alex Kassian, Slikback, Low End Activist, JASSS, and more with line-ups announced until early July.

Meanwhile, Tresor’s summer schedule will take over the venue from July to August with a seven-week multi-media event, Tresor 31. The festival takes place from July 8 with 20 club nights, eight concerts, and an exhibition.

The nightclub officially reopened last month with a newly refurbished soundsystem and dancefloor. Running until August 27, Tresor 31 will see in a range of artists from Helena Hauff, RP Boo, Yazzus, Simo Cell, and more.
