Premiere: Amelie Lens challenges Reform's 'Checkmate' with a euphoric remix

Belgium talent Amelie Lens caught the ear of Pan Pot following the release of her debut EP, receiving a powerful stamp of approval from the Berlin duo and finding a home on the group's own imprint Second State.

With no signs of slowing down, Amelie has most recently been brought on board to tackle a new track titled 'Checkmate' from the Italy-based two piece Reform. Where the original provided melodic, hypnotic synths, Amelie challenges with dark, commanding techno tones, building off of the tune's drum soundscape and growing into a monstrous tune built to lift the dance floor.

Amelie Lens' remix arrives on Etruria Beat on May 1 alongside Reform's original plus a second track called 'Queen of Hearts', which has received a remix from Charles Fenckler.
