Little Boots delivers a live set of original material at an intimate fireside performance in the picturesque mountains of Upstate New York.
This past October, Mixmag teamed up with AKG to bring six artists to Allaire Studios - a musical getaway located in Woodstock, New York - for a unique electronic music retreat. Isolated from the noise of the outside world and provided with a plethora of instruments, recording equipment and refined audio gear, this amiable retreat delivered an exercise in nurturing new musical epiphanies through the spirit of collaboration.
Amongst these six artists was the singer, producer, DJ and songwriter, Little Boots. A force in the electro-pop scene for nearly a decade, this Blackpool native's triumphs include a Mixmag cover in 2013, high-profile festival appearances around the world and collaborations with the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Hercules and Love Affair and Simian Mobile Disco. Never faltering from her lifelong goal of becoming a force in the world of music, Little Boots continues to push her career forward with an unstoppable ambition.
Cozying up next to an outdoor fire pit and surrounded by the changing leaves of autumn, Little Boots delivered a graceful, vocally driven live-set outside of Allaire Studios during Mixmag and AKG's Woodstock retreat.
