Watch Drake: Rewriting the Rules on Netflix and Amazon
Bootleg documentary Drake: Rewriting the Rules is streaming now on Netflix and Amazon, joining a recent spate of music documentary films such as Hulu and Netflix’s explorations of the disastrous Fyre Festival and an upcoming look into Michael Jackson’s child abuse allegations.
Drake: Rewriting the Rules premiered on Vimeo last November, and has now made its way onto Netflix and Amazon. The unauthorised film doesn’t include interviews with Drake or his team, instead charting his journey from child actor on Canadian TV show Degrassi to rap stardom through archival footage and interview spots with music journalists.
The Ray Louis directed film is the second unauthorised Drake documentary, following the release Marquis Trill’s Toronto to Houston in January 2018.
